Borlänge, 23 February 2026 – Smartsign was originally founded in 1998 and has since pioneered the digital signage software market. Under the ownership of Johan Peters, the company has evolved from a local Swedish software business into an internationally recognised digital signage platform with customers in approximately 30 countries. Smartsign provides a modern cloud-based and on-premises software platform that enables organisations to securely create, manage and broadcast digital content at scale. With broad hardware support and an extensive library of integrations, Smartsign serves a large customer base across diverse industries including the public sector, industrial, retail, healthcare and corporate communications.
Smartsign has demonstrated strong organic growth, consistently outpacing the underlying digital signage market.
